What Does Heaven Look Like? (with Video) Definition And Description Of Heaven In Christianity

Dear Fathers of the Holy Family, be with us. In mourning the death of our father, comfort in the hope that one day we will see each other again in heaven. We strive to be good and holy all the days of our lives. And as we face our final moments, may we find peace and comfort in you and our Father.

Parenting plays a key role in a person’s life. Being a father implies responsibility and accountability for the child’s well-being, upbringing, education and protection from threats. Fathers are motivators, patient, strict when necessary, supportive, mentors, service providers and correcters with love and compassion.

That is why losing a father is a truly heartbreaking experience. However, we are sure of God’s mercy and love for the souls of our departed fathers. Their death ends their earthly life, but it is the beginning of a new life in God’s presence. As we mourn and mourn the passing of our father, let us continue to pray and remember him. They live here on earth when we remember them and live by their good and noble examples.

It is always comforting to remember all the good deeds our father did while he was alive. Remember that they are decent people who have gone out of their way to support us and our needs. May it fill us with gratitude for the influence of our Father while he was alive. When we pray, always include our Father in your thoughts. Isaiah 65:17 says, “Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered nor remembered.” Some interpret Isaiah 65:17 to mean that we will not remember our earthly life in heaven. However, one verse earlier in Isaiah 65:16, the Bible says, “The troubles of the past will be forgotten and hidden from my eyes.” Probably only our “past problems” will be forgotten, not all our memories. Our memories are ultimately cleansed, redeemed, healed and restored, not erased. There is no reason why we have so many memories from our earthly life. Memories of sin, pain and suffering are cleansed. Revelation 21:4 says, “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor pain, for the old order of things has passed away.

Not remembering the first things does not mean that our memories are erased. The prophecy points to the wonderful quality of our new environment. The new land is so wonderful, so shocking, that everyone completely forgets the cruelty and sin of the present land. A child who is afraid of shadows in his room at night, completely forgets his night terrors on the playground the next day. It’s not that the memories are gone, they just don’t come to mind in the sun.

Also, it is important to distinguish between the eternal state and the present heaven. When a believer dies, he goes to heaven, but that is not our final destination. The Bible says that the “new heavens and new earth” will be our eternal, eternal home. Both passages quoted above (Isaiah 65:17 and Revelation 21:1) refer to the eternal state, not the present heaven. The promise to wipe away every tear comes only after the tribulation, after the final judgment, and after the creation of the universe.

John, in his apocalyptic vision, sees trouble in heaven: “I saw under the altar the souls of those who died for the word of God and for the testimony they followed. They shouted at the top of their voices: “O Sovereign, Holy and True, how long will you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” (Revelation 6:9-10). John is clearly in heaven (Revelation 4:1-2), and he sees and hears those who clearly remember the injustice done to them. Their loud calls for vengeance show that we remember our lives in heaven today
