Unfortunately, I’ve spent most of my life trying to navigate social situations using the homespun radar that everyone is thinking and feeling at some point, and instead of turning me into a smart gene, it (sometimes ever) make me. A nervous little monster. To be fair, I love the neurotic monsters in my life, but together we can make life more complicated than it needs to be. Learning to assess, measure and express your needs isn’t just for pain relief, it’s for everyone.
